Cisgender: A person that identifies with their assigned gender at birth; sometimes shortened to just “cis”

Closeted*: A person that isn’t open about their sexual orientation or gender identity

Come out*: A person who is “out of the closet”, or a person who has told others about their sexual orientation or gender identity
